Jerry seems to have blended well into his new environment. He sure looks happy !!!

Waiting to hear....there was an ad in paper for 2 English bulldogs FREE....seems too good to be true....of course I told hubby he's crazy for even considering adding 2 more dogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I hope you get them, Jen! They may not have the money or time to keep them anymore.

Check with their vet, though. He may know something about the temperment of those particular dogs.

I have English bulldog breeders next door to me...they have lovely temperaments, but LOADS of health problems...

I e-mailed the guy again

what does the breeder say other than this....
"Prone to breathing problems, poor eyesight, very susceptible to heat stroke, Very cold sensitive, Susceptible to skin infections, hip and knee problems."

Geeze! Prepare for gazillions in vet bills.

Not necessarily, you need to know who the breeder was and all the background info

I love the English Bulldogs. Would love to have one someday, but my sister would not like one. They are prone to drooling and lots and lots of gas. And because of their pushed in faces they snore and snort and basically are noisy breathers.

Karen, Patches sooo looks like he's modelling a designer coat. Just the sweetest face. We don't go to Plymouth all that often but about 3 pm sunday we noticed a huge line of cars came into town. Must be when the Cape renters are looking for a nice sojourn on their way back. Being without dog and wanting to get home, we turned around and ate at a restaurant, I think called Mama Mia, a very nice value and not crowded, though not in downdown.

Oh, I like Mama Mia's. Did you go to the one on the waterfront or the one right off the highway?

Nice to know there's one on the waterfront for a future trip to Plymouth. We were skedaddling out and spotted the one on the highway.

The one on the waterfront is nice, right across from where the Captain John boats are moored, and right next to Ziggy's which is a great place for ice cream. They have nice views of the harbor.

The male named (ADAM) weigh 10 Pounds and the female named (EVE) weigh 9 Pounds and will weigh big when fully grown.
But i'm very sorry to tell you that it is too late for you to get the babies now. What really happened was that i just left the state for Africa in some few days ago after i posted the the ad on the newspaper and before i left, i did not get any response from anybody that could take very good care of them for me. So i got a missionary call from our missionary headquarters in Africa, then i have to bring the babies along with me here in Africa since i couldn't find someone to adopt them before i left the state.
They are both A K C registered and shots are given up to date and both home trained. both of them are my darling sweetheart and super spoiled! They both have a sweet personality and loves to play and be carried around.All papers will accompany the puppies when shipped to you, Due to our long staying over here in Africa, and the bad weather my Wife and I have concluded to get good home So that is the reason i have to find for them a home back where they will be showered with all that love and affection. Don't spend another single second of your time on this, your brain power can be spent on your friends, relatives, and stuff inyour own life.

THEY have the burden of proof to demonstrate merit for your time and attention.

TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!!!!! Beware, beware!!!! Sounds almost exactly like those romance scams. WOW!!!! Of course they are always pretty much from Africa. Nigeria, usually. If these were real people they could easily find good homes over there, if that were really true. And the fact that the person can't even write proper English tips you off right there.
