Hi All!

this is the 3rd year in a row that I have been able to photograph the same Great Egret and the beach at Sheldon's Marsh...he has taught me alot with my photography...

things were not the same for me this spring...Chestnut-sided Warbler

Wilson's Warbler..

a Blackburnian Warbler...they stay higher up in the tree's...

a Blackpoll Warbler

I now know the song of the Mourning Warbler....

a Song Sparrow...

my favorite song to hear and I had a front row seat...Wood Thrush

the song of the Northern Parula is stuck in my head now...lol

a Nashville Warbler...

a Palm Warbler....I was seeing groups of 20 to 30 at the creek when they were coming through...

a Purple Martin..

a Lincoln's Sparrow....new bird...Ive made it to 199 on my list...just missed shots of a Virginia Rail to get to 200 this spring.

some new birds at the feeder's this year...counted 8 White-crowned Sparrow's at the feeder one time earlier in spring...

well I found a better shot of the female Cerulean..here she is...

new to the feeder this year they stayed about 2 weeks just like the White-crowned Sparrows did...the Rose-breasted Grosbeak.

the grub is not too bad here....

some only gave me a quick glimpse this spring...Scarlet Tanager

and some let me see who they are....be seeing you.

So good to see you back, Burd. This is an amazing thread. I wish I could comment on each of the birds you've posted. Really good flight shots you got of the Purple Martin and the Tree Swallow as are the opening shots of the Bald Eagles. Great captures of the Red-winged Blackbird seeing the Turkey Vulture off. I love the little Marsh Wren. Well done.

So glad to have you back. the warbler photos are a real education. Hat's off to the redwing & wonderful to be able to capture it in pictures. I didn't say 'on film' but thought it, showing my age.

Wow! That's a lot of pics! Love the Orioles especially. All are super.

King of the Warblers! Welcome back Burd. I couldn't possibly comment on each and everyone, but I sure would love to. Short and to the point; the Redwinged Blackbird reminded me of Margaret's Willie Wagtails from down under. All terrific photos Burd, and thanks for sharing your wonderful experience with others.

Each one of your photos was spectacular so I won't comment on each one either. I did have to chuckle at the "no fly zone"-well put! Congrats on seeing the osprey for a second time. I loved seeing each of your pictures, thanks for taking the time to share them with us.

Hey Burd, sorry I missed this thread. Likewise, happy for your return. Hope things have settle a bit for you, and things can feel normal again soon.

Thanks all! Still stuck at 199 on the life list but have collected a few more shots to share with you all.
Start off with a Cedar Waxwing...mulberry's are still plentiful in the backyard..got some evening light with this shot.
