I'm having trouble trying to find a place to plant some perennials. I want to plant some roses and other perennials, but i want to make sure they are in the perfect spot...

Do you get full sun all along the fence in the first 2 photos?
I would create border gardens all around the fence line
I wouldn't do anything in the 3rd, looks like your play area.
Yes, I get full sun pretty much everywhere back there.
I would consider a couple of things. 1.)How do you currently use your yard and how will you use it in the years to come? 2.)What can you see from INSIDE your house looking out? 3.)Is your house/yard a more "formal" or "informal" one?
1.If you use your yard to play a game of kickball, you will need some open space without any plantings. If you limit play to that one area and go to a park for large games you can plant "islands" in your yard.
2. You will enjoy your gardens much more if you can see them while you are inside, too.
3. If your house and yard is more informal, then avoid straight across, evenly spaced plantings.
Alright. Thank you for your help!

Roses can be planted in any location that meets the following three requirements:
1) The spot must receive at least 4 to 6 hours of direct sun each day.
2) There must be enough space to allow 18 to 24 inches space around the plant for air circulation.
3) The soil must drain well enough that there is no standing water.
