Summer 2011: Growing plants under lights indoors! Pt 1

One of the blooms had a blue stripe in the Aomurasaki youjiro blizzard! LOL! A rebel bloom perhaps? LOL!

Kaori. This one makes me smile! I am obsessed with speckles. I think I dream of speckles in a rainbow of colors! LOL!

Life would not be the same without purple speckles ... ahhhh ... such a terrific cultivar! ♥

This is so funny and rather interesting ... the blue mix seeds from Karen2005 did it again! This is the same plant that I posted a photo of previously above somewhere. It has those weird colored spots on the blooms again. I have no idea why that keeps happening. I don't mist my plants at all... a mutant perhaps! LOL!

And last but not least ... her royal highness ... Blue Speckles with the variegated leaves. Ahhhh ... love those speckles ... I will dream in technicolor tonight! ;-)

Thank you Elsa and Jackie! I saw that Helena has accidentally posted her outdoor bloom photos here, but she must've had them removed by admin. LOL! I've done that before! LOL!

Kyushu University Q1044 (from Dany).

Notice the heart-shaped light green leaves. A very striking vine and the blooms are the icing on the cake! A very nice cultivar!

The two Q1044 blooms deserve a closer look.

The other Q1044 bloom. Attractive!!!

Karen2005's Purple Blizzard also has heart-shaped leaves. Both vines are I. nils. Pretty neat!

Karen2005's seed swap vine blooms are STILL producing those weird purple patterns on the blue blooms. I am going to have to contact her to ask her about it. Sure is unusual and lovely.

Fun to watch the Weird Saz and rhe Aomurasaki youjiro is a great color.
My favorite today is the no Sora cross, so beautiful and love the lacy look.

The Fuji no Sora cross (F1) is showing more stripes! I really like it! I loved it last year and looks like it's going to be another favorite this year! ♥

This is a new one to bloom that came from Ronnie in the seed swap. Reminds me a little of I. hederacea.

This is the F1 of the NOID "black" cultivar from Colin.

The angle above made the bloom look really dark and more of dark gray color. But here is another photo of the same bloom taken at a different angle. You can see the dark purple color instead.

I really like Kaori a lot!
