My peach tree has started weeping milky, rubbery stuff from every pruned cut. Any ideas on what it is, and what to do about it?

starting from a pit and after a few years the peach tree had fruit. but when
the fruit reached the size of a grape they started to shrivel up like raisins.
then there was one peach the size of a tennis ball but then half started to
turn grey. the leaves are green and healthy looking. what is happening
with the fruit?
