lowering ph

Hi i have been doing some checking. My well water reads 7 on the ph meter my soil reads the same as we are in a drought and have to water every day. I want to drop it to 5.5 if possible but seeing that water is running that high not sure how to go about this. Any advise would be greatly appreciated
