I have just purchased one of these plants and put it in a pot with 2 sempervivum plants, thinking they had the same requirements for watering. But I just read that this plant is a Bromeliad. Although I'm not sure, I thought those kinds of plants required almost no water. Now I'm thinking maybe these are not good housemates. I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone can give me about the care of the Pink Star and if I should remove the sempervivum from the pot. Deonia
care of a Cryptanthus fittionia, Pink Star plant
I'm thinking that cryptanthus plants like moist soil, bright filtered light, and yes, they are a bromeliad, but they behave differently than some of them :)
