There is a large catalpa in my yard that is shedding leaves, which seems to be a strange occurrence now in early June. The leaves have small black raised dots on the underside, dozens per leaf. All of the ground and growth under the tree, as well as some of the leaves still on the tree, have a sticky substance all over them. I don't see any obvious bug movement, though. Does anyone have a suggestion for what I might be up against?
