Beautiful pic! -thanks for the new thread! ☺
Wow, foreclosure of a bank....sort of like that.
Right on!!! BOA Needs a wake up call!
Too many business operatives seem to be careless. Here our Sarah Bernhardt peonies are in bloom & it hasn't rained as yet to knock the stalks down.
Wow - graduated HS 30 years ago tomorrow! Where does the time go?
Sweeney Todd???? What's up with NJ lately?!! ^_^

Glad that someone sent a "wake-up call" to corporations that they can't abuse individuals who are completely innocent...perhaps the judge should've assigned "punitive damages" as a symbolic gesture.
And life goes on!!!!:)
Gnats here are bad....must spray to walk in the gardens.....
Two bird stories...while walking Suey, saw a B. oriole chasing a huge crow....or raven. Then, a few minutes ago, I took my binocs into the veggie garden patio to do some bird watching.....a pileated woodpecker flew not 5' away from my face....I was so stunned, I never got the binocs up!
Very cool!
Wow, Marilyn...how exciting to have Phil Pil come so close. We have a family of them here; the kids are training for a steel drum band. They constantly peck on our garbage can outside.....usually before 6:00 am. Hank covered the can with old rugs and they stand on top, bend down and peck on the sides. I think they are hysterical. I don't think they are the smartest babies in the forest! lol The pileateds are favorites of ours, so I am willing to put up with a lot from them.
Victor - you and I graduated on the same date....but it's a few more years ago for me.
Sherrie - the black flies seem to be diminishing here. I've spent the last few days out there and even though my back is killing me, the black flies aren't.... finally.
Oh-mi-gosh !!!!!
Love that photo !!!!
It's a definate Keeper !!!!
Great shot. Didn't know they nested so low.
Forget it Jen!!!!! My mental state is older than my physical state!!!
Frank, the rhodo is about 8' tall....my house is 3 stories on the north side......
Got my first mosquito bite.
I have had many already
With the Apple announcements today, some cool changes coming. All your mail, contacts and apps will automatically sync with your computer and all apple devices. Also, your last 1000 photos, whether taken with your regular camera and downloaded to your computer, or with the iPhone, will be shared as well. And, in both cases, all are backed up 'in the cloud.'
Just got the ad tonight on my PC.....oops, I mean mac
Thinking of switching next time to a Mac notebook.
Wow, I just mentioned I like living in Maine for a variety of reason...one being less violence. I spoke to soon.
Last night my DD called me very upset.....there was a shooting next door to her Grandparents. (My Ex-In laws) I still get along with them, and even stop over every once in awhile so this was a shocker. They live in a very nice, quiet neighborhood, or at least it was. My Ex-ILs heard 2 people fighting, the kids crying, then a bang. When they looked out the window the lady was running from the house...she had been shot once. Her husband followed her outside and shot her 2 more times killing her right there in the road. My Ex-BIL said the screams from the kids were horrendous! The man then got into a car and led the police on a high speed chase...to the other end of the state where my other daughter lives!! She could see the flashing blue lights on the interstate from her house. Little did she know it was the same man who had shot and killed his wife next door from her grandparents.

Frightening...Maine still has a low crime rate, but it's jarring under those circumstances.
we had a situation like that in town here too last year... not right out in the street.. but beat his ex-wife to a pulp and then killed her... all frightening
Wow - how awful. Can happen anywhere.
that is aweful celeste
Very unfortunate..
Too bad he didn't kill himself first.......those kids will be traumatized for life....
