How do i get rid of small white insects that are killing my petunas? PLEASE HELP

sounds like white fly. Start out with a consistent spraying of a spray bottle of water with about 4-5 drops of dishwashing liquid. ( a clear liquid--not orange or yellow). I usually like to add a drop or two of "dormant oil spray" use can get at lowes, etc. I spray once or twice a week...see what that does before moving onto pesticide sprays, etc.

I would avoid adding the oil o the mixed spray as most washing up liquids already have oils added to keep your hands /skin soft and prevent the hands from drying out with constant dish washing. The other thing to try is ladybirds and their larvae are ferocious eaters of white fly and you can but them on line, but as stated before, do try some harmless stuff before you resort to chemicals however, most gardeners will use chemicals as a last resort, so it is an individual choice.
