Proven Winners Sweepstakes

Christiana, TN(Zone 6b)

And here I was thinking I could enter every day until the end of June. That's what it said didn't it?

North Pole, AK(Zone 1)

So how do we enter each day until the end of June???

And...I have to say I am extremely sympathetic to the fact Canadians can't enter. Alaska is frequently excluded from ordering from so many on-line sites and entering sweepstakes this such as this and we ARE part of the USA. It's never nice to have the carrot dangled when you can't get it through no choice of your own.

Dover AFB, DE(Zone 7a)

US Military overseas faces the same thing, Chocolatemoose. And we really don't have any other options, either...

Newnan, GA(Zone 7b)

Put the box with the link back! How do we enter now?

Cramlington, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

I wish you would remember that DG is an international site. Too often I get the impression that it favours US residents.

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

I guess we Canadians, being next to the US giant, are used to it!

Trust me, we petition for our international members anytime we entertain an opportunity like this. In this case, we strongly encouraged them to at least to all of North America. In the end, Proven Winners is the one that had to make that decision, and in fairness to them, it may be based on laws within each of our respective companies that makes it difficult for them to offer a worldwide contest. If you feel strongly about it, your best choice may be to write directly to the company and ask them to look for ways to expand their products (and contests and sweepstakes to other countries.)

Newnan, GA(Zone 7b)

Thanks, Terry. I didn't bookmark it because I thought it would always be there. Now it's here. LOL

Christiana, TN(Zone 6b)

Thanks, Terry. :-)

Northern, NJ(Zone 6b)

I would like to be able to turn this Proven Winners Sweepstakes ad off since I have other ads turned off.
It is clearly an ad for Proven Winners and is a sneaky backdoor way to force people that are subscribers
to see ads.

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

I entered, and got a message that I am eligible for the daily contest...does that mean I should enter every day, or that I am automatically in the daily giveaway contest?

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

When you enter, you get this message "Please remember, you can enter again tomorrow!"

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

Ahhh, okay, thanks!

Los Angeles, CA(Zone 10a)

sempervirens, I like this idea! We will work on having this area removed for our subscribers who prefer to have ads turned off. Thanks for the suggestion.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Critter, I am using my iPad and I get the same thing. Words on top of others.

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

I tried changing my font size preferences and still get the same problem on my laptop... maybe it's a Vista thing... managed to enter anyway, so I'm good! LOL

Christiana, TN(Zone 6b)

I was wondering when we will know who won. Anyone know?

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Glad you asked. I was also curious.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

It's a good question - let me see what I can find out :-)

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Great minds must think alike - before I could contact her, Talia sent me a note with the following info:

The $300 shopping spree winner is gram_pat: http://davesgarden.com/members/gram_pat/

The $200 shopping spree winner is granny2011: http://davesgarden.com/members/granny2011/

I've sent them each an email notifying them that they won, so please join me in congratulating them!

I can sympathize. For Mel and me, this is like working in a candy store and never getting to eat any of the goodies :-)

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Congratulations! Enjoy your plant spree... :-)

Los Angeles, CA(Zone 10a)

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)
