Hello, is it ok to apply Neem Oil to a Japanese Acer (Acer palmatum) and to an ordinary tomato plant?
Thanks for the help!
Neem Oil
Neem will not hurt your tomatoes, but do a test spray on a leaf of the maple (acer) as they tend to be sensitive to oils.

Also becareful using it in the heat of the day or full sunshine. It is an oil so it will cook your plants. Now I see your in England I was there one summer and I'm still waiting for it to stop raining and warm up.
Hi Lisa , was thinking about you today .
I have Jap maples and I wouldn't use neem oil on them ,Joshua
Moon , how ya doing ?
It seems I am seeing "Neem OIL" in lots of posts in various discussion forums. I am bored and off the next 2 days so I am gonna go research it.
Have a day of Awesomeness~~
THIS is why I am here...To read, learn, and contribute.

OMG..LOL We had the same link Moon... SO HERE..
Remember I told You photography was my passion??
I had to get this shot THROUGH the original mesh screen that came with this house.. and at primal sun time that the lizard was in silhouette. (Not a good time for a pic)
AND not a camera that can change lenses. Point and shooooot and pray. (( Grrrrr.. til Santa comes to see me, been waiting 47 years)..PFfffffFT
The family.. Us were eating dinner.. They looked at me like I was insane when I ran for my Camera and asked them politely to move from their seats about a foot over.
BUT.. from now on when I go out it's with me. I knew this already.. Number one rule I learned over 30 years ago.. TY for reminding me...
This one's for you..
Enjoy~~

Thanks for all the replies. I had already applied once the Neem Oil on the foliage of the Japanese Acer, I hope it won't harm the little tree. :(
Hope they were helpful to you Joshua.
Hi Digger...just doing the daily raindance with the water hose..and praying for rain. This is the driest it has been here since the mid 60's.
Great picture LilyotN...so much fierceness in such a tiny package....LOL. This little guy was taking full advantage of the sprinkler...

I am pleased you found it useful...you are very welcome. Moon
Moon........... that photo of the little tree frog is to die for!! I adore it. We had thousands of little tree frogs in Port Bolivar one year............and I mean thousands. Then the next just a few. However we did have a small family of them that returned faithfully year after year. They would plaster them selves to the picture window and eat bugs as we ate dinner. It was fun to watch them sit down with us "For family dinner time" :)
Thanks Lily. That is why I always try to have the camera around. ya just never know what little giftie will turn up...grin.
We have a Cajun Chorus frog that "owns" the dining room window and the gekkos dine at the kitchen window. They are like little "ghosties" on patrol keeping that space bug free. One night we counted 17 gekkos on the window. They make it fun while the dishes get done.
