Broken Red Delphinium during Transplant

The top of a recently purchased red delphinium broke off at the soil line when I picked it up to transplant it in the yard.
I planted the bottom section and wonder whether there is any hope for its survival and growth.

That won't hurt it. Might delay flowering, but it won't hurt the plant.
