Beavers had cut down a Peach tree and two Plum trees before it occured to us to wrap the tree trunks with screen wire. This Saucer Magnolia being so close to the house was never bothered... until now! Wildlife and Fisheries were unsucessful at trapping them. Does anyone have any other suggestions how we can get rid of these pesky critters? This is what's left of the beautiful tree.
Beavers chewed down to the heart of the only limb left.
