Wheee! I dug up a large clump of this short red & yellow daylily. I don't know its name, but it is just starting to bloom now. I have some potted up for anyone who wants one, and plenty more I can put in pots as well.
Plant Swap for July 16 RU at DonnieBrook's
Thank you, Celeste!!!
You got it Bill :)
Pixie, I'll take as many iris as you can spare.....
I would love a surprise iris Celeste if there is enough
no no no.. don't be silly
nothing wrong with us loading you up!!!
Im so glad your coming Sherrie!! You got an iris and anything else you want. :)
BTW, I have plenty of Iris's....mixed and a few named.
if you have a named kool aid... ::::cheesey grin:::: I would love one
UM...no idea which one it is but I can try and guess. :)
Sherrie- it isn't necessary to bring a thing! Of course you'll have lunch and "shop" to your heart's content at the plant swap. Sharing is the whole point of what we all love to do. I'll hear of nothing less, thank you!! You don't want to be the cause of our ending up with an over- abundance of leftover plants, do you? Just come and enjoy the full experience!!
aaaaaaaaaaand how!!!
Sherrie - can I interest you in one of the red/yellow spider daylilies pictured above? And some purple, yellow and beige iris's? And a tall lavender bee balm???? I have no takers and these need good homes. I'll put your name on them unless you don't want them for some unacceptable reason. lol
Sherrie I have extra balloon flowers too
If you don't want our orphans, maybe Mr. G will! He DOES have his own garden, I assume?
oh Sherrie. now you are making me feel bad.. if I had the truck I would have taken it
Question...Louise...How tall does that Magenta Cranesbill get?

"skinny shoes"...LOL...Jen, you must have thought our "shoe conversation" at the RU was influencing the name! Love it! I got a piece of Allison's shiny shoes and think it will be really cool mixed with some hot colors. I have never seen it before and really like it. It will make the cut for Florida!
LOL Thanks!!!!
That must have been it...wishing I could wear skinny shoes
hehe
Hey Allison...info on that 3 n 1 hydrangea, to make sure it blooms all 3 color....couldn't hurt to try it
"They need iron oxide in the soil around their roots to turn color. . Old steel wool pads, or iron filings from a blacksmith will do it. You can probably buy a commercial iron supplement to make them turn color too."
Barbara my neighbor gave me steel spikes I stuck next to all my bushes.. but thanks!!
oh and the one I bought looked like it was grafted together.. so of course your piece won't be 3 colors
crud.. did I forget to give you the potentilla?
Yes you did...
Well when you and Randy come down with the rocks....
ok good.. LOL.. I might have another.. was not sure if it was a strawberry or that .. waiting to see
nope it's still here.. just watered it
Something ate that one sedum I got from Karen, right out of the pot..... GRRRRRRRR

They are munching on my new plants too!
