Memory, I'd love to have some thornless blackberries.
Karen
Karen I would love a foxglove please.. one can never have too many
:)
Okay, Allison, foxgloves for you, and Marilyn, dwarf iris for you. I will take some dwarf iris too, Marilyn. I love them even more than the TBI's, maybe cause they don't need staking.
Karen
Celeste, I would like some of that tall bearded iris you have, the one with the yellow standards and russet orange falls.
Edited to add: Oh, and would like some of those forget-me-nots (are they perennial or biennial?) and Baby Blessed iris, too.
Karen

Bill, are any of those Sunray coreopsis spoken for yet? I would like some, and I know my friend Karen would like some, too.
Oh, I will call Karen and get her to give me a list of what plants she's bringing so I can list them here. I'll just make a separate post for hers.
Karen
Marilyn, if you have enough of that TBI that your bringing, I will take one for myself, and I'm sure my friend Karen will want one, too.
Hoping Kassia is coming. I miss her wonderful enthusiasm.
Karen
Bill, I noticed Louise has spoken for one of those coreopsis, so I'll take 2 more for Karen and myself. That leaves one for someone else.
I lost my Jethro Tull coreopsis. Died this past winter. :-(
Karen
Great, Karen....I'll pot some up!
Thanks, Marilyn!
I just added these to my list of what I'm bringing: Coreopsis rosea 'American Dream', Jack-in-the-Pulpit, Stachys byzantina (lamb's ear).
Karen
Karen i will check how many there are tonight.
i am getting confused if you are talking about yourself, or if you have a split personality, or there is another karen:)
"Bill, I noticed Louise has spoken for one of those coreopsis, so I'll take 2 more for Karen and myself."
That's my friend Karen, who is coming with me and bringing plants also. She's been with me to all the other RU's I've gone to.
Louise, btw, I forgot to mention that my friend Karen will be coming, and most likely my Dad as well, if you want to add them to the list under my name. Thanks.
Karen
oohh I would love a Jack-in-the-Pulpit... adding a hellebore to my list now too
You got it, Allison. And I'll take your hellebore!
Karen
all yours babe
Karen - I'm happy to add Karen and your Dad to the list.
Thanks, Allison! Thanks Louise! Can't wait to see everyone!
Karen
Karen I'd like the Coreopsis American Dream please.
Bill - I'd like your last coreopsis too if it's still available.
still need to check out how many coreposis are available
Marilyn - I love that little dwarf iris if you have any extra ones!
ok i have three of the coreposis - i think i can pot up two more
Yours, Louise!
Frank, I put you down for that Coreopsis 'AD'
Karen
Thanks Karen and Bill.
Allison - I'd like some coleus.
Thank you, Marilyn! At this point, I've run out of places for any more plants (Is that even possible?), so as tempted as I am to ask for some that you guys are offering, I'm firmly ordering myself to assert some control.. :) We went to Lake Morey Resort for Hank's Big Birthday golf trip this week, and while the guys were golfing, my friend and I had to amuse ourselves somehow, so we explored some Vermont garden centers that were terrific. We had to hold some of our purchases in our laps, so that's why I'm cutting myself off! LOL
I hope Hank had a great time....sounds like you did! Since i won't be going home directly from the RU, I'm trying for plants that will be OK in the car....
wait a min Memory.. you can't eat coleus.. LOL... and of course you can have some!!
Allison - has your NOID butterfly bush been claimed? If not, I'd love it, despite my previous post! LOL
Pam dropped off some iris here today for me to bring to the RU....they are light blue...she said she will post a photo....
How very sweet of her! I wish she could come!! Thank you, Pam, and thank you as well, Robin, for bringing them! They sound very pretty!
Just added a washington hawthorn and 2 passion plants. May have some 6 hill giant cat mint too.
I finally got to visit Robindog's garden again and see the rest of it...beautiful! She has so many gorgeous plants of all kinds I was drooling! In spite of all the space here I'm still limited in where I can plant what, partly because of weedy invasives, but also because we're not here all the time to take care of things. I have to stick to low-maintenance plants that establish fairly quickly and can hold their own in the garden without too much help. Of course I have a few exceptions...
This is the iris I'm sending. This year there was only one blooming stalk because they needed to be divided. Also, they weren't getting quite enough sun. The first year after I divided them, they were amazing...multiple blooms on every stalk, just a huge display. Unfortunately I missed that moment this year, and only caught the rest of the bloom at the end, a week later.
Have a great time, everyone...maybe I'll get to the next one!
Pam
Thanks, Pam, for not mentioning the tons of weeds!
Louise, you're making me LOL! Too funny!
I potted up some sedums today that I can bring. I don't know all the names but one, and that one is 'Blue Spruce'. The foliage looks like blue spruce needles.
I have some verbascum seedlings that I'm going to pot up. I'm pretty sure it was this one: http://anniesannuals.com/plt_lst/lists/search/lst.srch.asp?prodid=1088&srch_term=verbascum Annie's has it listed as a perennial, but mine died after flowering, so I'm thinking it's more of a biennial. Anyhow, it gave me a bunch of seedlings. I will save a couple for myself and share the rest with you guys.
Pam, I so wish you were coming. I look forward to meeting you someday.
Karen
Thanks!
