This is the thread to chat about the plants you have available for swapping or to request plants from those listed, etc.. In the past I have tried to keep up with "who is bringing what for whom", but frankly, it was practically a full-time job to keep it straight right before the RU. Please keep track of what you are bringing for whom in the event that I am too lazy to do it again. lol PLEASE REMEMBER THAT NO ONE IS REQUIRED TO BRING PLANTS! YOU ARE MOST WELCOME WITH OR WITHOUT ANYTHING TO SWAP!
STILL TO COME CLOSER TO THE DATE: A FOOD THREAD and A DIRECTIONS BLAST to all who are coming.. (Those 2 things I will not be too lazy to do.)

chat deleted until after everyone has a chance to hold a spot......

Allison has made a great suggestion that everyone hold a spot at the top as she did, so each person can be responsible for updating his or her "spot" at the top of the thread. I think it would be great if everyone coming holds a spot asap near the top of the thread.

Holding my spot?!?!?!?! I didn't know there was such a thing. Right now I have a climbing hydrangea, a purple stonecrop for Robin, a heather, a pot of iris (thin blades about 12-18 inches tall now -color and variety unknown to me). Adding two passion plants and a washington hawthorne (3 years old) about 2-3'. May have some 6 hill giant cat mint.

I hadn't seen that before either, Frank, but I think it will be very helpful. I think this is how it works: you hold a spot and then as you make a swap (to bring a plant for someone who has asked for it or to receive a plant that has been offered to you through the chat on the plant thread) you go to the spot you have saved, press "edit" on the left side under your name, and then put the information re: what plants you have promised people or which ones someone has offered to bring you in the one post, so that all of the swap info for each person is displayed for everyone to see. This way everyone is responsible for keeping up with their own trades.
Did I do that right, Allison?
yes
swell! :) Thanks for the help!
I'm staking out a spot even though I just have common things and edibles. I have some thornless blackberry plants - maybe someone doesn't already have them? I also have Jerusalem artichokes and a great recipe for soup. I also have lots of creeping Jenny - the yellow kind.
Thornless blackberries for Louise and Hank.

You can never go wrong with either of those, Marilyn!!
Hope not :)
nice!
Very nice!!!
I'll take both, Pixie.....
You got it Robin!
I've got some plants potted up but am waiting for them to grow before I say what they are (several varieties)and I'd just as soon list them all at one time.
Thanks!
Sounds good to me, Frank!
Celeste, may I get on your list for those iris's?
yes. lol
You got it! ^_^
Thanks, Celeste! You are already all over our yard, so what the heck, there was one little corner without your name in it. Whew! lol
Anyone have any interest in perennial geraniums or Stella D'Oras? Yellow lamium??
Yellow lamium yes!
Perfect, I have the silver leafed one w/purple-pink flowers.
Those should look nice together, Celeste!
I also have some "Becky" Shastas I need to divide if anyone wants those?
I thinned my tall lavender bee balm today and potted up 4 pots with several plants in each. If anyone wants to claim a pot, please speak right up. If no one wants any I'm going to give them to a friend with a new house on Tuesday. Thanks!
would love one Louise
You've got it, Allison!
thanks babe
Bump. Please note the link to the Food Thread in the first post here.
It's not too late for anyone else to join us if they care to!
The RU is one month away, so feel free to start mentioning plants you plan to bring and those you'd like to have, as well as any dishes for lunch anyone wants to bring.
