I am very disappointed, i bought about 18 own root roses...one of those was the abraham darby..they were all ready to bloom ..i even counted 14 buds on one rose..and guess what ...one day when i came back from work, and all the buds from almost every rose were chewed on. I was so dissapointed about this, but i found out who the culprint is....the squirrels. My questions is, how long does it take a Rose to rebloom again ??? 2 weeks, a month ?, and will they have as many buds as they had before ??

Hi! I was sorry to hear your flowers got munched on...didn't even know squirrels ate roses!
Did any of your bushes bud out again? I think it would depend on the traits of your particular bushes. I tend to like floribundas as they keep on putting out flowers throughout most of the season. I would guess deadheading all the chewed up buds would have helped to stimulate some reblooming cycle. Hope you have had some new buds/blooms start making an appearance. I'm roseless as the moment due to garden space limitations but am thinking about adding a small floribunda this fall or early next spring.
I love those floribunda roses too--they are so tough and they do bloom for a longer period of time than many others. I have one called "Angel Face" that's lavender and loads itself up with blooms early in the spring and then blooms off and on for the rest of the summer. The blooms smell wonderful too! I don't know what type of roses you have George but, hopefully, they'll put out at least a few more blooms for you this year.
I have the same trouble here in UK with the squirrels, never seem to catch them in the act however they use the climbing roses to get up to the bird feeders so it has to be them.
I have NOT tried this myself BUT, one of my friends paints her Rose (stems) with hot Chili powder, the Squirrels cant eat this yet birds don't seem to be bothered by it and the birds still remove greenfly and other insects, so maybe give it a go,
As regards how long it will take before the flowers are in bloom again, all depends on the type of rose, the damage, BUT there will be no NEW buds for several WEEKS / MONTHS till the plants can grow more buds / shoots and in the meantime give the plants a half dose liquid feed just to get them a wee boost.
I have to build chicken wire cages around my bush or standard roses to keep deer / squirrels and other stuff off the buds, flowers etc, etc, but it is quite unsightly close up.
Good luck. WeeNel.
