BH fan here too. :) My Dad was a huge fan and as a Colonel my brother not only met him but played a game of golf with him. Naturally he got an autograph for my Dad. ^_^
Thats Entertainment #9
Finally got around to see Deathly Hallows II. Exciting, but so many things went by so fast that unless you had recently read the book or the IMDB synopsis, you wouldn't realize the significance of many references. I wish there were an amusement park ride like the gnomes' tram. Almost as exciting as the mine car in "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom".
One amusing touch was that the mall parking lot contained about 40 tree surgeon trucks from Asplundh-- evidently they used it as a staging area for clearing downed power lines after hurricane Irene. But we thought it would be more appropriate if they were all at the theatre to see "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark!"
I like Bob Hope too, and never saw that. I love the Lemon Drop Kid.
True, Don. For someone who did not read the books, a LOT of information which explained so much was squeezed in. And much of it in the final half hour of the movie!
Eddie Murphy to host the Oscars. I have not watched it in at least ten years.
Me either, so much more important things
Actor Cliff Robertson died. Was 88.
I always liked Cliff Robertson, steady guy, solid.Didnt have to take his clothes off to be interesting.
Bob Hope's wife, Dolores, died at 102!

Yes, I did not know those either, Jen.
I did a skit for our women's retreat and it had some snippets of songs about friendships in it, all the women were singing along...I was up in front of them trying not to laugh
Can never argue with a Queen song on top! Funny about the war explanation.
Anyone watch the show, Off Limits, on the Travel Channel? Very cool.

Too many blonds with guns and a license to spy.
Anyone else LOVE Billy Joel's version of Hey Girl?
Had to look it up on youtube, nice version...I usually like all his stuff
Saw 'White Christmas' today lots of people in it that are normally on Broadway, my friend who I went with normally does hair for these shows and it was the 1st time she saw this one from the audience
Lorna Luft was in this production, she's the daughter of Judy Garland, very cool!
Nice!
