Thats Entertainment #9
bet those polyester pants were hot as heck!!!
You have no idea. Plus the sticky hairspray.
at the time I didn't have the hairspray.. but did have the pants.. LOL
I think polyester was an attempt to escape the weekly ironing
agreed
Debbie Boone sang that song, not papa.
Who is that in that picture????
Lady I remember from Airplane...

Wow - heard that the You Light Up guy was charged with multiple rapes!
Heard Arnold described as The Inseminator!
OMG John Stewart roasted Arnold.
flowAjen: Dont know who the lady is.
Its a card from the supermarket. The line of cards looked as tho. someone took family photos and sold the images as greeting cards. You could add your own greeting.
Arnold is such an easy punchline.
Oh ok, I was confused, entertainment thread thought it was someone in entertainment????
Family is going to remove life support from Jeff Conaway, of Taxi and Grease fame. He OD'd last week. Very sad. He was very good on Taxi.
bummer.. amazing what people do to themselves
So sad.
Read this today
"Initially, it was thought that he had overdosed on prescription drugs, but later it was revealed he was suffering from pneumonia and sepsis. He later slipped into a coma."
Wow - did not know that. How awful.
Ya I feel really bad for him and the family
Sepsis is bad enough when the catch it.
Yes.
I have come to realize we are probably born with physical addictions to certain things.
Drug over use for as long as Jeff did it,lowers the systems ability to fend off attacks from many things the average person would recover from.
Bottom line is Drugs killed him.
So sad.I watched a few episodes and just couldnt believe how hard it is to struggle with addictions.
I think some are more open to addictions, but are not 'locked in'. Just need to be extra vigilant when it's in the family.
I guess thats what I was trying to say.
Alcoholism does't run in my family, it gallops!
I choose not to notice how much my daughters drink. They seem to be able to manage their lives with what they consume.
My brother was an alcoholic and took the cure 20 + years ago, is a faithful AA member and has been sober since the clinic.
Conaway died.
Sad.
:(
Best Taxi episode featuring him was when he went to Louie's HS reunion as Louie!
Victor .. it's gallops in mine & Randy's family too... amazing how the two of us don't drink much
I have to watch myself - especially with the wine.
after seeing mine & his family the way they are after.. it's easy to take it easy.. LOL
Hee hee!
I enjoy a cocktail, but rarely have more than 2
After 19 years w/out a drop....I just sniff the cap now. ^_^
Yep, the "Taxi" episode at Louis' (Danny DeVito) class reunion was a landmark acting job for all the actors involved....Jeff Conaway, R.I.P.

I had 1 bad tequila episode and that cured me. I made have a sip of something every now and then but can't even do a whole glass of anything
I HIGHLY recommend downloading this short film. It is wonderful! Every reading teacher should show it to the kids.
