Hi All,
So, I have an area where an above ground pool used to be. Still have the pool sand in place, and I've been toying with the idea of starting something there.
I am open to all suggestions, and I am warning you, I am an imbecile when it comes to the earth!!
Can anyone help?
Newbie here!
There's not much you can plant in sand, so you can do something decorative, a seating area with a fire pit or an arbor or bird feeding area with feeders and birdbaths, rock garden with containers.
If you want to plant in the area you'll need to get rid of most of the sand then you can mix in compost and garden soil to get a good mix that plants would be happy to grow in
