I'm in love with this weigela
Blooms 2011 #6
Jen, your weigala is beautiful.
Weeze, I most certainly like the change of seasons. I love to see the flashy tropical colors but I also welcome spring. Funny, I visit my home town and wilt in a day with the same heat that I could perfectly play cricket the whole day in.
Sweet Williams is nice Jen! Roses already? Love the weigela!!
Yesterday I could just see the tips of red in the tree peony buds, today they are fully open. A little wet right now with the rain overnight.
love that first dark one Celeste
Wow! So many nice things! I have not had time to keep up at all. So busy here. Will try and catch up tonight. I have a gorgeous 'Guernsey Cream' clem in bloom now, just loaded with flowers. Gotta get a pic of it.
Karen
Thanks Ge & Allison. Ge, I love that white, nice and crisp. Would really glow with those dark ones of mine.
Its not really tall ,about 18 inches.
Darks ones are about 10 maybe
I need to go check my digitalis, why isn't mine blooming yet????
I can see whay nthe Harlow is a favorite.
Harlow has good genes. ^_^
Very nice, Jen! Eye of the Tiger grows in rocky soil??
*groan*
Double groan for the Jean Harlow!
^_^
Lovely pics everyone. Jen's eye of the tiger looks very nice, more purple than mine and is a deeper brown fall. Like your blue and yellow combo irises. Marilyn your dark iris and the Harlow's gold are stunning. are they together?
loving the dwarfs more and more!!
Hello, everyone. Took awhile to catch up here, but I finally did it. I'll post a few of my own soon. Having some internet troubles tonight.
Debi, my 'Lavender Mist' Thalictrum is not blooming yet, but looks like it's getting ready to. I was hoping it would get taller. It's supposed to get 6-7 ft. Maybe that's only in California that it gets that tall.
Weeze, this iris of yours (Allison's) is so pretty ( http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=8574674 ). Makes me think of a watercolor painting. Oh, and your scotch broom is very pretty. So is your red columbine. I saw some gorgeous scotch brooms today, yellow, in full bloom. They were just covered!
Celeste, this is a very nice shot of your tulips: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=8577365 And this bleeding heart shot is gorgeous, too: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=8577374 I also love both the Cat's Eye and Buster iris. Dwarf?
Jo, this peony of yours is gorgeous! http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=8581165
Rama that Eye Of The Tiger sib is very nice. I love the Klondike cosmos, too.
Karen
Karen my Lavender Mist gets 5-6 ft tall here, I've had it at least 4 years now.
I don't think I posted this link before. These pics were taken at a friends house a little over a week ago. Taken with my phone, so not crisp and clear, and not as colorful as I like, but still pretty. She has some very lovely gardens.

Oh, nice, Debi. Maybe mine will get taller before blooming. Can't even be 3' tall right now. Buds aren't open yet, though.
