Allison: I love those trellises too. Too bad the company went out of business.
Peonie: The Lasagna garden was started in March 2009. I put plants in a month after laying down the newspaper and mulch.
I absolutly dont recomend it that way.
Best way to lasagna is to layer in the fall of the year befor planting the followeig spring,even then I had undisolved areas in the Tree Peonie garden I started in 2010.

Joann, thanks for the heads up. My daughter has been bugging to get her own patch to plant. I was thinking of starting a lasagna patch for her.
