Hi, I have a small back garden with a very small brick patio and flower beds on the sides. I wanted to put in irregular flagstone or stepping stones in the center between the beds, with a low-growing groundcover. Does anyone have any suggestions? Ideally I'd want something that either doesn't flower or flowers early enough that bees wouldn't be a problem for the summer. The area is mostly sunny to partial shade. Thank you. BTW, I'm in zone 5, east central Illinois.
