Sour strawberries

I planted strawberries last year and clipped the blosoms as instuction indicated. This year I have the most beautiful strawberries. The bad news is all the berries are sour, and there are some that are rotting before ripening. I have screen all around it, and it is a raised bed. I have read that the rotting might be over watering. I get, on a daily basis 20- 50 berries. Any help on what to do to get them sweet would be appreciated.
