I need advice. I have 2 red ceramic pots, i think 12 inches wide , i got for mothers day. My house is a light grayish blue with white trim , my front door is red. i have a covered porch, it faces east, so it is shady for the first half of the day. I would like my pot to be very full, some flowers, some kind of spike in the middle, greenery flowing out. Any suggestions on flowers and plants would be appreciated. This is the first gift my daughter bought all by herself and I want to make them beautiful. Im in michigan, i think grow zone is like a 5 or 6. oh and my thumb is definitely not green, lol, so any useful tips are welocme too.
