I planted about 50 Tulips this year, 5 different varieties. ALL came up and bloomed spectacularly by the end of April, with my treasured Ice Cream Tulips seeming to be only a bit behind the others. Only 2 of the Ice Cream Tulips came up (planted 5), and one of those seemed well on its way, but is not yet open. The other was always a runt and then suddenly started turning brown. Both got a bloom on them, but the blooms haven't opened yet, with the runt bloom seemingly having stopped developing all together. That bloom has now begun to show signs of withering and I am sure will fall off any day now. WHAT HAPPENED?????? These Tulips are in the same bed as the others and none of the others had any problems.
Thanks.......I was so looking forward to the Ice Cream Tulips most of all!

Sounds like something got at the bulb
Is the bulb forum a free forum, or one accessible only for a paid subscription?
