Rhododendron problem

My rhododendron has yellow, sappy leaves and shoots. There are little red spots on the new shoots (they dont appear to be moving). The leaves have tiny white spots that also dont appear to be moving and black spots on the.undersides.

Those leaf like things you're seeing aren't true leaves. I can't remember the proper term for them but they're a bit like the calyx that covers the petals of a flower bud. Those thingys cover the leaf bud cluster.

You're fretting too much :)
My boss has a saying that comes to mind, "quit looking at your plants" :)
