I get alot of catalogs, it turns out many are owned by the same company. Am I getting the same plants from the more expensive one as from the others? Also have noticed that catalogs from different companies use the same pictures, do they get their plants from the same suppliers?

Use the Watchdog to find the more reputable companies, there are companies that have their own greenhouses and others that get them from a central grower, you need to do your research.
Sometimes they just use the same image for the catalogs

Thats how I found out about single companies sending out several different brands of catalogs.

Be very careful buying from the companies in Bloomington, Illinois. I learned the hard way...after reading about them in the Watchdog it was already to late for me. They are almost all owned by the same parent company.. hence the reason your seeing the same photos over and over. May I ask if the catalogs are from Illinois?

There are several companies in Georgia, too that have terrible feedback on the Watchdog and appear to be related. Luckily, I stumbled across Daves Garden before I ordered from them.
