Aloe Vera Cacti Plant

Bayard, NM

I just transplanted a small aloe vera cacti plant into a larger container. For a week it realy did well.
My husband opened the window over night and the next morning the plants aloe leaves laid flat down.
Please help.

Yesterday morning I woke up to find that my young apple tree was bitten in several places. I know there
is nothing I can do now. I just cut back the broken branches, hoping it will come back. It was doing really
well until this happened.

My husband put a cage arround it to stop future distruction. Is there any rthing else we can do?

Thanks

I know that Aloe veras don't like too much water, and they seem to grow better for me in the shade. Hope this helps.

Yes.... exactly what biscombe said. Mine do MUCH better in shade, and over watering seems to kill them quickly. They seem to thrive better with neglect. I let them go dry for quite some time, then when I happen to think about it I water them. Every time I have grown these with this method I have ended up with more aloe than I needed.
