Yucca turning yellow

Harrah, OK

Hello I was wondering if anyone could tell me if my yucca plant is going to die or will it come back, I didn't want it where it has been for the last 8 years but I didn't want to just throw it away so I dug it up and replanted it in a different area I only water it the day that I replanted it and now it is turning yellow so I didn't know if I should just leave it and see what happens or if it is dieing? Thanks for the help!

It's hard to say--if you dug up a big enough rootball and you keep it watered properly then it is probably just transplant shock and it should recover. It will need to be watered more often than normal for a while as it gets its roots going again--you don't mention how long ago you replanted it but it may be in need of more water. But if you didn't get enough roots when you moved it, it may not make it.

Thank you for your adivce I replanted it just about 1 week ago but I have only watered once really good so maybe I should water it again. I did try to get most of the roots it had some really big ones but I did damage a couple of them while digging it out. Thanks again for your help!
