HI there
our new home has a cottage style garden in the front yard and there are heaps of gerbera plants popping up everywhere but hardly any flowers (i've only noticed about 5 (from well over 20 plants) in a year.. any ideas? the foliage doesn't look diseased or anything. I haven't fertilised them, but they get plenty of water..
thanks
Connie
Gerberas aren't flowering:(
Gerberas are heavy feeders and require a regular application of fertilizer to bloom their best. You can use a liquid feed or granulated fertilzer per package instructions. Just make sure you water early in the day, as they are susceptible to crown rot and powdery mildew.
they need at least 6 hours of sun and allow the soil to dry between waterings.
