When you leave you spin the piece of wood to make sure the door dont open for any reason when you have the heat running. Especially like last night - you know its closed.

Hubby gets a call from one of our customers, asking him who was working on the roof on such and such a day and what part of the roof were they on blah, blah,blah...Hubby is like just get to the point what's wrong?...one of the workers is accusing our guy of kicking a stone off the roof and breaking the windshield on her car....well we weren't working on that side of the roof, the unit they were working on is on the other end and....the best part..... they don't even have a stone roof, it's vinyl.....DUH...should have blamed the landscapers!!!!

Potato pancake arrived burnt to a crisp...not dark brown but patent leather black---burnt!! to a crisp!!! I told the waitress.....the solution......?? the pancake was flipped over.

Did the folks in the kitchen think I wouldn't NOTICE??? I was so astounded by their 'solution' that I was silenced-- A FIRST! HA! Prior to the "flip" I heard the waitress say to the owner "She says it is burnt." Like it was a total surprise and I was being ungrateful that at least one side was presentable-- if not edible.

Victor - I raise a stink with no problems. In the south the New Yorker in me gets very much noticed. But I was so astounded and believe it or not - I got so tickled (crazy I know) that I didn't make that stink. But, that restaurant - trying its best to get established, lost a potentially good customer.

A girl in my church went to school today and mentioned to the teacher this morning she had a stomach ache, teacher suggested she may be pregnant. REALLY??? Would that be your 1st response to a teenager...for pete's sake!!!! Wouldn't you at least ask what she ate?

Hubby took kids out to dinner for his b-day...I couldn't even move off the couch. You know when you are so tired you can't even talk? I couldn't even grunt, I was sleeping and he kept asking me if I was going with them...well obviously not....anyway, when I finally had the strength to get off the couch around 8pm to see what was to eat, noticed he didn't bring me back any food...REAL NICE...what the heck!!!!!!!!!

When you feel better, take the kids out for lunch when he's not around.

Health fair sponsored by hospital a few years back....booths with lots of info about staying healthy..offering tests for cholesterol, blood pressure, BMI, ---basically risk factor identification and advice when the tests not so good news....


When done collecting all this great advice....stop at the last booth and collect your HOT DOG AND PEPSI !!!

Past few times I was doing a search in Bing it automatically filled in the EXACT thing I was going to type...now it might not be weird if it was going to be a common question but.....

I just typed in "is there a dwarf".....and before I typed the rest it filled in "Ninebark shrub"

Did I do that search before? I can't remember but at any rate that's just WEIRD

It's harmless enough if it's about plants, but when the search starts spitting out details about your deceased grandmother's bank accounts, it's time to get paranoid !
