And one more...
Garden Projects 2011 #3
Wow! You must be dead, Weeze. Hope it doesn't blow/float away!
Nice job!!!!!!!!!!
wow Weeze.. you are some woman!!!.. great job!!!
nice job!
I would... that is a great idea.. sheesh how many signs does one need really?????
Randy is going to run another pvc pipe and hook a hose station on the side of the house for easy watering on that side & the GH.. so I don't have to keep dragging the hose around the front and down the side... we bought one of the hose stands with the on / off valve on it
I need a Randy!
Wow, I thought I did a lot today! Looks wonderful!
I'm impressed....no wonder you needed all that mulch! Jen, love the fairy garden.....you did a great job! Patti, would love to see the primulas you bought...photos? Karen, that magnolia should be on the list for something.....largest in NE? I planted many things today, & did some weeding....the beds are just a mess! Tried to dig up the brushy mess by the drive, & couldn't get my shovel in! Guess I'll have to hire the landscaper to clean it out......found a dead chippy & gave it a solemn burial.....
if he gets it done Weeze... and he is claiming he is putting up a raised bed for me this year.. we shall see
aaaaaawwwww RD I hate that
:(
Very creative!
Weeze - check out Bloom River. Their stuff was really nice and FW has now stopped shipping.
I like it Bill!
Looks great, Bill. What's going in?
very pretty Bill
venu209, looking great, but "no more weeds"....ha, in all our dreams! Patti
Yes, the best way to avoid weeds and regular mulch re-supplying is to pack in the plants!
That looks fantastic, Weeze! Wow! You are super woman!
Bill, your new bed looks great. No mulch yet?
I'm beat. I dug most of the daylilies for my orders today, and that took up the majority of my time. I was out there for about 8 hours today. I also did some weeding, fixed up a sales area, potted up more stuff, got my weeping bald cyprus planted, and planted 2 pots of bee balm (Pink Lace and Marshall's Delight) that I bought last year. Was happy they made it through the winter. Now I have to go to my overnight job.
Karen
Bill, that looks fantastic! 138 bags of mulch (ooof) Yeah, I know Patti, but at least it's not a zillion weeds. After I finished the project I started weeding some of the beds that have been neglected. Found some babies that can be moved out front. Packing in free plants is always fun!
By the way, in the last conifer corner shot there is a tiny green plant. That's a hibiscus from Garden Crossing. I hadn't ordered from them in a year of two. I was very disappointed with the shrubs I received.
Thanks, Victor. I'll check them out.
what will go in there will be a bunch of hosta, there are six jm's in there and may add another container jm - also have some astible that may find there way there - need to check on the sun requirements.
no mulch yet karen - still have about a 1/3 of the 20 yards of dirt and compost left to move from the driveway for another bed down towards the pond - once that is gone i will order mulch
Looks empty to me, Bill! ^_^
Wpw, Louise! You don't do small projects, do you? That looks spectacular and many people using that corner will be amazed by the change you've made!
Great job!
with 35 hosta coming it won't be :)
Wha, Hope you don't have a herd of deer or a bunch of bunnies around.to munch on all those hosta. I have close to that many to plant, but little ones, liners mostly. I have to edge that bed first. But it should be a quick plant. And they are behind the deer/rabbit fence. Patti
Good job, wha! You and Louise could do over the northeast, one plot at a time.
Looks great! I love the walk through path. It just looks so inviting.
Holy moly Weeze, that is A LOT OF mulch(for bags!!!!) wow!!
Hubby was adding wood to the sides of the trailer and I look at him funny...he says you want me to pick up mulch don't ya??? oh yeah did I train him good or what?
Last week my DH told me that the reason his rotors warped on the truck was all the garden soil and mulch I make him haul.
LOL
bookreader451, Guess he needs a bigger truck. Patti
Nice job venue
