Yellow leaves on 5 week old zucchini plants

Brooklyn, NY

Hi. This is my first time trying to grow veggies in containers. I started the seeds indoors a few weeks back and the plants were flourishing. I just started introducing them to the great outdoors (in containers still) and all the leaves are starting to yellow around the edges and then die. I never get the leaves wet and it doesn't look like powdery mildew please help! Could they be lacking nutrients? What's the best way to fertilize them without burning them? I would really appreciate your thoughts!

I don't know the answer, but I just posted about the array of problems in my first time garden, and a squash of mine looks just like your zucchini!

You're right! Hey, can I ask...do you know how many weeks old you're zucchini #2 is? I feel like mine are runts b/c they were started indoors. Let me know what your store says please! I don't have any resources. Thanks!

novice12 - what kind of soil are you using? Have you given them any fertilizer?

Hi.Thank you for trying to help. I'm using miracle grow container mix. I gave them fertilizer for the first time last night. Liquid Schultz 10-15-10.

novice12 - Hopefully the fertilizer will help green them up. Let us know if you don't see a difference in a a few days.
