Wow - first time I ever heard a woman say that. ^_^

I think that there should be separate 'no deodorant' sections like there are smoking sections.

Thomaston, CT

How about 'no pinching' sections?

A glass of wine is a great antidote to a rainy Sunday.

just had a clamato bloody with shrimp - lamp shanks are cooking :)

Thomaston, CT

That is lamb? I don't cook it enough because I don't like leftover lamb.....

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

About to have some wine right now.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Usually cuts of lamb are so much smaller so you can usually finish them so there are no leftovers...there's usually no leftovers in our house as it is. I only order lamb out anyway since hubby isn't crazy about it. The place were we had our wedding reception had the BEST lamb chops

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Not a lamb, nor veal person.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Veal is something I also order out, had veal chops at this one restaurant(so disappointed they changed hands and now they are lousy!!!!)
anyway....hubby says he doesn't like veal chops...these were sooooo good, he asks for a taste and then ends up stealing one of my chops...UGH

Sounds like my sister! She only eats a mouthful or 2 at a meal, but it may be off someone else's plate! Guess there are no calories if you do that......

Hummingbirds are one of nature's gifts. Watching hummers feed on flower nectar or from a backyard feeder can bring a smile to the grouchiest person.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I agree. Love them.

Been watching them for 3 weeks now. I know there is at least 3 but I think more. They move so fast its lucky I get a glimpse of 1

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

DD saw a hummer today. The neighbor has a feeder up for them.

Hummingbirds = Nature's Jewels

Wish I could travel to the West to see all the intriguing varieties....when I was in New Mexico, I saw Magnificent hummers...they are the largest.....but never got to see any other kinds.....

Lucky I dont have a broken neck trying to get a glimpse

Dear Mr Overweight man,
I commend you for wanting to lose the weight by bike riding but trying to look like Lance Armstrong is just not cutting it, please put the spandex back in your closet until you lose the weight.

Thank you

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Ewwww. Was he also doping like Lance?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

If he was doping it was with jelly donuts

Thomaston, CT

LOL...had to wait 11/2 hours at blood draw today...while fasting....lucky I didn't topple over!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Ugh I hate that!!
Esp when you do that glucose test when you're pregnant, what man thought up that test???!!!!

Thomaston, CT

Never had to do it when pregnant, but my optometrist sent me for one because my vision had deteriorated too much in a year....guess it was stress, no diabetes!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Good to hear....not that it was stress, of course, but that it wasn't worse

What am I doing up?

Thomaston, CT

If I'm up in the middle of the night, I read......right now rereading one of my favorite books....Deborah Crombie's "Dreaming of the Bones".

Was up down, up down all night. The plants in the GH are bothering me.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Are they loud, Sherrie??

East Bridgewater, MA

If N.H. weather has been like mine, your GH plants need more sun...lots of overcast days here.

Yes they are loud - they are screaming for water constantly. I have to unload them preferably to people and not over the bank

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Why do I always forget something when I go grocery shopping?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Better one - why do I always wash cukes before I peel them???

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Because if you don't wash them the dirt gets in as you peel, unless you also wash them after peeling.

Mother black fly that I am allergic to after 3 today O O I will stick my head in a bucket of water and not retreat.

I cant get bit by 1 more black fly. I put stuff on and they still find me.

3 bites in the same area merged into one big ball the size of an orange, on my neck. I rather get stung by 40 bees then 1 black fly.

To top it off sun poisioning on my arms in a couple of spots. Cant take much more or I am going to turn into - one mean woman on steriods.

Meat Glue! http://youtu.be/Ss_b-dRIOOg Yet another reason to know your butcher. Ewwww.

Getting to love veggies more & more......have to thank Victor for the Technu tip.....no poison ivy, even though I yanked out tons!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Any time. Same for me the other day. I touched it for sure a few times (hate how it hides among other weeds!) and then used tecnu. So far so good.
