That sounds like pretty good odds to me . I think keeping deer away is a life long dilemma. I've heard they don't like soap. I haven't tried it but would be worth putting a couple of bars in your flower bed flowerpaws. "They" said to put it in mesh bags and hang it in veggie gardens.

I think the article said to use Irish Spring soap...something in it scares the Deer away.
