I understand it is a good idea to plant multiple blueberry plants for pollination. My question is should they all be the same variety or can you do several different varieties? Will this cause crossing of varieties or any problems??
Thanks for any help

BLUEBERRIES FOR POLLINATING
The nursery told me to plant two different varieties for pollination.
Yes you need several varieties/ it helps with producing healthier plants over the long haul. Encourage you neighbors to plant a few as well. Great plant and don't forget prepare the soil, needs to be very acidic.
Yes. Different varieties. Even self pollenating ones produce better fruit yield when planted with other varieties. All stuff I've learned from other ppl
