Nice Jo, I need to get some different iris.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I can dig you some of this when you come for the snapdragons. It spreads well.
I concentrated on lilies last year, this year its Iris,I mostly like the medians.Tall ones get knocked over in the wind.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

I have tall and reticulated, and want to add some of the shorter and different bloom times. You are always so generous! I have to remember Borglums this year.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I'm not that generous. There is a method to my madness. I will have more room for different iris.
I want to ad the dwarfs. I will get more reticulated bulbs this fall. DD loves them.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Yeah, I hate staking those TBI's. But they are so pretty!

Karen

Thomaston, CT

I only have 2 varieties of TBI that flop....a deep purple with a grape scent, & a yellow that came from my Gram's garden......I planted a medium last year, Copper something, hope it blooms this year....

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

I have lots more reticulated iris out today. I took pictures. But did so much work preparing a big new bed that I am to tired to get up and download them. I will try to rally. I am a big fan of the dwarf iris too. I added many last fall, but not blooming yet. Fingers crossed. Patti

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I'm adding to mine this fall.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Would like more dwarf bearded iris. I've noticed the borers don't seem to bother them much at all. The ones I have multiply well.

Thomaston, CT

Have not seen it in catalogues....it's stunning!

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Ge1836, Mine is puny, but Geranium Cheryl's Shadow is lovely. I may move it after seeing yours. It may be in to much shade. Thanks, Patti

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

I got it in 2009 from Bluestones. Patti

Thomaston, CT

Thanks, Patti.....I'm always looking for geraniums to fill in places.....

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

With that color, part shade is probably best. How fast does it spread?

There is 1 in PF and doesnt look as compact as in Bluestone photo.
Review by gardener was good. It will be in full sun and part shade here.

I think we're up to 5 wows, very nice JoAnn.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I bit the bullet and ordered. The new contours of the Tree Peony Garden will appreciate it.

What did you order? You have a tree peony garden? I was looking at some at GroMoore today.

South Hamilton, MA

My small herbacious peony (supposed to be 16") has finaly puts it's nose above ground, I was afraid it was lost, as the ones we brought from Wisconsin 50 yrs ago are about 2".

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Some geraniums are fussy. Interested to see how well they do.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I was at GroMore today too. I had to hace a Panzy fix.
I ordered the Cheryls Shadow geranium. I have 2 tree peonies. 1 in the front between 2 fir trees and the other is in the back near the fountain.

Here is what a gardener said 4 years ago.about the geranium:

A good beating is an effective panzy fix.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

just shaking my head
I bought some pansies last week for a pot I stuck some pussy willow branches in and hung Easter eggs on. It's kind of cute. I was at GroMoore before noon.

Do you already have that geranium and ordered more?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I was going to ask if they sell Viagra at GroMore, but that was too easy.

Thomaston, CT

I spent 3 hours raking out & bagging the debris from my largest per. bed.....I found this little fellow, think it's Glory of the Snow......
