It should melt quickly--we have some grass covering snow at the moment but I don't think it will be too deep.

I just ordered an Outward faceing one from Deer resist plnts.
I like that color. I think all hellebores are deer resistant. A big plus!

Iris, these are Chionodoxa aka Glory of the snow. It was misting when I shot this so it's water. My old Fuji could take better macros than this new Canon.
Really like those hellebores, Jo & Ronnie....Andy & Bill, those are disheartening photos!
