Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Nice pic! Doesn't feel like spring this week.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Amherst, NY(Zone 6a)

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

Cold, windy, pond frozen again. 22*' very sunny, feels like 12*!

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

upper 30's today. The sun is out for now too.

Thomaston, CT

Dem, do you have problems with geese in the pond?

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

Lol, no......have a problem with egg laying peeper frogs. boy they are loud! Neighbor is always whining, I told him to put in central AC, that's what I did.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

I love the peeper frogs, they lull me to sleep

Please dont tell me we are having not 1 but 2 snow dumps

South Hamilton, MA

I won't-----are we?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

only one and that is not for sure yet!

love peepers - first mallards in the pond when i got home!

Blooming Grove, NY

Love those peepers. Step outside each night starting any semi-warm late winter evening, and then, one night they are there. And then at that moment so am I. They say more than our weathermen on TV, bless all their hearts. Peepers speak from their genes, they are the soil thermometers we want to read, we wait to hear from, and we didnt have to order that thermometer online! On these ridiculous cold nights lately (yeah yeah, I know...it is still only March) I step outside in the evening to just hear them. They dont lie...thank you dear peepers and croakers. Needed that. If I could, I would sing back to them. But I like my neighbors too much .

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

I've been listening for them too, until we had this last cold spell.
Soon!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

not out here yet - soon though pond still has ice on most of it and wet lands too. they are deafening when they start.

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

When they put up the local walmart they created a stream from spring runoff. Every spring thousands of eggs, new construction above changed runoff, so after spring rains it dries up. I go catch as many pollywogs as I can and put them in my pond. Very loud!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

31 now... going to 51.. the word nor'easter was muttered in the forecast

:(

Jim just said = I will come home tonight and get wood in.

I will now go watch the weather.

Mid-Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5b)

So, it's 20 degrees again this morning, but to my horror... "WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH LATE FRIDAY NIGHT... " What about March goes out like a lamb?

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

28° here, winds calm and we have clear skies.

Going up to 45° today, winds will be light, - from the Southwest at less than 10 mph. It'll be clouding up as the day progresses. Low for tonight will be around 33°. A rainy day with downpours is forecast for tomorrow down here.

Amherst, NY(Zone 6a)

Good morning.

Yet another brilliantly sunny but brutally cold mornings in WNY. Currently 24 degrees heading up to the mid 40's. Some type of mixed precipitation is predicted for Thursday and Friday.

Have a blessed and wonderful Wednesday, folks.

-Dave

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

More crappy weather, no lamb here, March was backwards this year. Pond is frozen again, even my pansy's and primulas are balking at this weather!
28*, very bright and sunny, up to 50* they say this pm.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Can't believe the forecast. It's like a bad joke for April Fool's Day.

We don't need the stinkin' snow!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I agree....6 - 12" predicted here.
34 now and sunny, going up to 45 for a high today :)

The only good thing is to teach kids. Put some maple syrup on it. Its sugar snow.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

The never-ending continues!

42 and sunny now.

Thomaston, CT

The ice that had melted off the rock ledges is back again....it's 36 right now, heading to 50....will work in the yard. No peepers at the pond behind the dam as of yet......hope weather isn't too bad Friday, I've been called to sub.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

36 and cloudy. I'm hoping the snow stays south of me. Looks like DD is going to get it.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

(insert bad word) i am on the edge of 14 to 10 inches. forecast has increased from this morning - hoping for a yoyo effect and it will go down and walk the dog!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Geeze!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I'm not looking then....I just spent the day raking part of the lawn that doesn't have snow. Also did alot of pick up sticks! 45 and sunny :)

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

14-10" or 10-14"????

Something was on fire around here, very hazy and smells like smoke

Thomaston, CT

NO SNOW! I raked out a couple of the smaller beds, but have loads more to do....today was perfect for working, & I feel tired, but good tired......

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Bill is on the downhill side, Jen. ^_^

South Hamilton, MA

One weatherlady is pushing the rain north. Hope she is right. that would put us out of the snow belt.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

we got the snow. I was hoping we'd miss it, it's stopped for now.

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

Not for nothing, but hope it stays in OHIO!
