i would like to know what is the easiest and best soil amendment i can use in my garden?

it would depend on the kind and quality of soil you presently have. an amendment is used to give soil the things it doesn't have or has in small amounts or, if the soil has too much of something, an amendment is used to balance out what is already there. there are several great forums on DG which would help you in more detail as this is the plant ID forum and the "experts" in soil amending may not see your post here.
