It would make a lovely print, contrast of the blue & the pink & yellow flowers.

We had indigos in our CT garden, but sadly not here.

GP, Wonderful shots!
tiger, Love the Wrentit!
Adel, glad you're enjoying the Tree Swallows too-cute photos.
Teddy, great shot of the wp.
Lily, cute duck. Hope you'll be seeing the little ones soon. Cute nuthatch photo.

Tiger, congratulations on the wrentit! Wonderful photos!
Nanny, great photos of all your birds, especially that creeper.
My first for the year Bullock's Oriole arrived this morning-finally. He's just 9 days late from his past two years, but that's probably because of our earlier stormy weather.
Oh man that is nice duc!
oh my word, Duc!
Has anyone ever heard of a buzzard tree? We went to the club tonight and there must have been 5 or 6 in the top of the tree, tomorrow if the rain holds off, going to go to the club and see if the Pileated will be there, my hubby saw him the other day. Wish me luck.
Love those swallows Duc, I like to order some please. lol. Just kidding. Good lucks teddy.
Great shots duc! Love the Oriole and of course the Swallows!
No April Fool's joke. It's SNOWING here.
Here I go coming in at the end of a thread again and what a thread. My favs -- bald eagles, osprey, brown creeper, towhees, dark-eyed junco, oriole -- and had never even heard of a wrentit! Very cool everyone!
I don't see bluebirds as often as some of the rest of you, so I was excited to get 2 decent pics yesterday. This one nabbed what looks like a dragonfly nymph out of a dry ditch. Didn't know the nymphs could survive when the ditches dry up.
Seeing as it's a pine (evergreen), definitely dead

Went out this morning and stayed real still where my hubby said he saw the Pileated, I never saw him heard some drumming and caught a Northern Flicker, the problem is that I got the twigs in real good focus, but the flicker was blurry, so had to delete it. Still determined to get it, might try something here at home with the upside down feeder or get another one and put it on the tree, not sure yet, will let you know what happens.
