Here's an Anna's Hummingbird.

Another one.

I don't get many hummers where I can see the tail feathers to find out if they're an Allen's or a Rufous. This is a Rufous.

One more Rufous.

I'm turning green with envy!!! Those are so adorable, our eastern hummers aren't here yet. But truly I enjoy your pix here. Thanks for sharing.

I thought this one might be sick because it just kept sitting on the perch. I'm still seeing it and it does look better so now I feel better.

What I think is a female Rufous Hummingbird sitting in the rain.

The weather is still rainy and gloomy, but the Hummers were active.

Great photos Adel! It always seems to me that my hummers are most active when the weather is at its worst.

Here's one of my female Anna's.

This male was just sitting on the fence.

These hummers weren't being aggressive toward each other, they were trying to balance on the feeder which was being blown back and forth in the wind.

Well I now have lots of Annas and Rufous in my garden. Four feeders in different areas of the garden. But once again fighting over one or two. They mainly fight later in the afternoon or early evening.

Rain or shine a guy has to eat.
