Linth...thanks for the new thread with your beautiful shots...you had me at Eastern Bluebird!! Love them all!

Nice shots everyone!!

It is a gorgeous day in the Ozarks...sunny and warm!

Good job on that adel!

Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

Linth, great photo of the nuthatch. My nuthatches come up and sit on a branch about 3 ft. from me when I'm filling the peanut butter/nuts logs in the morning and afternoon. Haven't been able to get them to sit on my bowl of the mixture yet though.

Burn, I'd take all that snow too if it meant I could see your beautiful redpolls. Enjoy them, I'm sure enjoying your photos.

Adel, love all your birds, especially the stellar's. I'm still waiting to see one here. Your feeder is great!

Pelle, lol, those starlings know a nice lady that will keep feeding them!

Red, your story on the bluebirds is cute-love that photo. Glad it was just vultures too.

Nanny, hope you'll have the camera with you in the future!

Mrs Ed, your nuthatch is adorable!

This House Finch was singing his little heart out.

We had a good wind come off the lake and I caught this robin trying to balance itself on the top candle of an 60 ft. pine tree. It managed to stay there for quite a while too.

Great shots guys!

Duc, I love the House Finch too!

Good ones Dellrose, that Nuthatch is very cute.

The Ozarks, MO(Zone 5b)

Thanks Pelle...the Nuthatches are so entertaining!

I finally got the Purple Martin gourds up!! They have recently arrived in our area and I am hoping to attract some. It may take a few years and it will be a battle with the non-native birds and I hope I am up for the challenge. I have done a lot of reading about the Martins and discovered that they are completely dependent on humans providing them with houses to nest. Wish me luck!!

Nice shots folks. Mrs. Ed. cute little Nuthatch.

Here is a picture from a few days ago. Two Northern Flickers, golden shafted. The Flickers are now frequent visitors to that one particular tree and suet feeder. They can empty the suet feeder in a day.

Great pics. everyone, I'm so far behind can't comment to each and everyone. Let's me say thanks to Linth for a fresh new start.

Columbus, GA(Zone 8a)

linth - great start and that Mallard drake in flight is just super!

duc - I love your tree swallows. I've never seen one. Pretty birds. AND nice Junco shot. I've only snapped one so far.

burn - your Redpolls sure are pretty.

adelbertcat - I liked the feeders you made. Where is the seed?

reddirtretiree - "Bunches of Honey n Oats", you mean the cereal that we humans eat?

pelletory - "I'm at my wit's end with the Grackle situation" 4 cakes eaten. I have no suggestions, but I feel for you.

dellrose - lovely capture of the Red-tailed Hawk.

GrannyGrunt - I'd sure like to see one of those Northern Flickers.

GG, So good to see 2 Northern Flickers together! Lucky you!

Forgot to mention in my last post that in the hopes of thwarting the Grackles I put up a caged suet feeder and an upside down suet feeder. I'll let you know how that works.

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Good luck with your Martins Rose!

Please do Pelle...I have considered a caged feeder.

Jealous of GG's 2 flickers!! Our male was here one day this week.

Hack...very nice shots...love the mocker!

I haven't been taking many pics. Not really any new birds showing up in the 'hood. Although I have seen an Eastern Phoebe around the past few days. I can't resist taking redundant pics of Daddy. Not like I don't already have plenty of him on the feeder.
