I have been reading a lot about people curing themselves of certain pains by eating vegetables & fruits. Has anyone experienced this?
Eating your vegetables
i definitely see a difference when i stay away from the big inflammatories (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant) with my arthritis. at least 1 of these used to be on my plate every night and usually lunch too. now i try to keep it to 3 or 4 servings a week and rarely need to take any thing for pain. potatoes seem to be the worst for me.
behillman - My hubby is 78 and I'm 66 - neither of us has ever had arthritis. We do eat organically as much as possible as we both believe what's sprayed on our food can cause a lot of illness. This is the main reason we grow our own vegetables - they are never sprayed.
Oh Yeah!!!! Look up gout which is very painful.
