Petunia Size

I've never grown petunias before and I'm going to grow some this year. What I can't really find an answer to is how big is a single petunia plant. I see pictures of nice masses of blooms but I can't tell if they are one plant or many. There are different types, what is the difference? Thanks

Hey Doug - Joannabanna can give you as much information as you would ever be looking for on petunias. She is the queen of toonies. You should be able to find her on the Annuals forum. You may want to post your question there.
