Very pretty, Patti. July Mint from Buggy reminds me so much of the Stunning, which I bought from her and love.

I got them both from Buggy Crazy and they do look so much the same, but L.Stunning is listed as earlier and taller. Love them both. Patti

Quoting:
2 for 7.00 STUNNING, Asiatic Lily

An Asiatic seedling from Yellow Blaze with huge, lemon yellow flowers on 4-5 foot stems that is just stunningly bright! Large purple spots and a high bud count make this a great bright spot in the June garden. This is one of the few lilies we named upon first sight, from the kitchen window it was spotted way out in the field and we had to get out there and see who that stunning lily was!

Quoting:
6.00 for 2 JULY MINT, Asiatic Lily

A late blooming seedling bred from Yellow Blaze with wide, chartreuse-yellow blooms on 2-3 foot stems. Blooms are upfacing and compact, a scattering of dark spots, pollen and stigma accent the pale petals. Blooms in Early July.

Asiatic lilies are the easiest of the lilies to grow, very drought tolerant and bloom in early summer. Hardy in zones 3 - 9, and prefer full sun or afternoon shade.

Pixi ,pots are 12 inches. I will plant with coleus. Brent and Beckys sends 10 bulbs.
I'm guessin 3 per pot and put the rest in the garden for late summer color.
What do you think?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Sounds good to me :)

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

thanx

Nothing blooming here :( ....don't even see crocus foliage......chipmunks?

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Squirrels eat the flowers here. Haven't seen a chipmunk in 30 years. They don't disguise themselves as deer, do they?

Thomaston, CT

LOL...I've seen very active chippies this week......they love the stone walls....right, Bill?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Just got in from pulling weeds (already???)

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Thanks to all who complimented me on the name for my late mother's DL. Will register it eventually. Should do it this year, actually, as I have plenty to sell.

Pirl, you've seen squirrels eating your crocus? I get mine eaten every year and always blame it on rabbits or deer, but really don't know what's eating them, as I never seen the culprit. Never thought squirrels might like them.

Jen, I've pulled weeds here myself. Amazing how early they start. Glad there's not too many yet. That will be in May and June and July and Aug. Oh, and can't forget about Sept. and Oct. LOL! The only time we get a break is Nov. through Feb. Ha!

Nice shots, everyone.

Karen

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Karen - register the daylily. It will be an honor to her.

Rabbits eat them as well. I'll try to keep better watch at the back door while I get coffee in the morning.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

I have a bunch to register, Pirl. Will get them done eventually. It's $15 to register each one, and I have limited money, so a few at a time.

Karen

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

I'm sorry I never registered any of ours so that's why I was trying to encourage you to do it.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

What happened to yours?

Karen
