Yes.
I agree to the new thread.
I have a file that I save nice pix in for my desktop. I have saved since last spring April.
I have been going thru it I'm nearly fnished with Juy
mine are still in June.. but with the puppies I don't have a whole lot after that
I would say!!
beauty
Thank you
Wha, love that shot of your Incrediball Hydrangea and your echi's. I keep trying Echinacea and keep failing.
Here is a shot of part of our Rosa Rugosa patch on the east side of our house with some lavenders taken the first week in July. DH will be cutting those roses all back to about 2 to 3 feet next week. Not a fun job. Patti
that looks great patti!
Thanks, I can almost smell them. Plus having a new bird house will be wonderful. Patti
Pirl, I would love to paint that JI! Patti, don't envy your DH that job!
lovely blooms, I'm so ready for spring
Nice pics, everyone!
Jo, that combo of the 'Eveline' veronica and the 'Sienna Sunset' coreopsis is outstanding! Also 'African Queen' is a gorgeous lily. My gardens are riddled with vole trails, too, and I've found plants eaten. Hope the damage isn't too extensive. I need a cat to patrol the gardens. Jo, you'll want to 'Chill Out' come summer time!
Bill, that 'Little Honey' OL hydrangea is gorgeous. I need one of those. Nice echis and Incrediball.
Celeste, I use mini blinds, too, for my plant tags, though some that I've gotten were not good quality, a very thin material that became brittle easily and the part in the dirt would bend and curl.
Victor, that Bonfire JM is a beauty. Plant a euphorbia 'Bonfire' next to it. Gorgeuos wisteria shot, too. The lavatera looks luscious! Do you know which variety that one is? I just looked it up, and seems there's a perennial variety as well. Check out this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lavatera_thuringiaca . It gets huge, 6'-8' tall with a 4' spread. Great specimen plant. I'd love to get one myself. Check out this little one: http://www.parkseed.com/gardening/PD/46979?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Spring%2009%20Specific&utm_term=InternetOnly . This is a perennial, too. There's a gorgeous one called 'Aurea', too, and that one has chartreuse foliage.
Love the 'Pink Champagne' clem, Pirl.
Nice iris, Marilyn. No one said you couldn't post pics from years prior to 2010. As long as you post only one a day, I don't think it matters what year you took it.
Patti, those rugosas look great with the lavenders.
Karen
Mokan Surprise daylily. Such a great performer in my garden.
Karen, Your Hemerocallis Mokan Surprise is stunning. I have some old peachy ones, but nothing as nice as those with their ruffled edges.
Wha, Blinding HH, but beautiful.
Victor, I just ordered a couple of wisteria, which I have always avoided, but they are so fabulous that I succumbed. I am planting them well away from the house so they don't eat it. Patti
Thanks, Patti!
Karen
The same plant?
yes.. 3 pieces grafted together.. was supposed to be red, white & blue... more like purple, white and blue
Lovely Allison!
not bad for $3.00
Nice pics Jo and Allison!
Karen
Pretty, Victor.
Karen
Great color Victor
I ordered a new phlox this year, Red Magic....Nice blooms, everyone!
Love that photo Patti. I just came in from doing some picking up. The ground is frozen in places and bare lots of dead stuff. Its hard to believe 4 months will make such a dramatic difference.
Very pretty, Patti. I'll check on the phlox.
