I am a newbie....and I want to plant my first hydrangea...
It will have some morning sun, and from 1 p.m. on, it will be in the shade of my garden shed.
What is the most successful, easiest to grow that will bloom all summer?
I love the Endless Summer, Vanilla Strawberry, and the "Bella Anna".
What would you suggest?
Thanks!
HYDRANGEAS
Endless Summer is great for me. It blooms on both old and new wood. Mine dies down to the ground each winter unless we have an abnormally mild winter.
here is some info from Iowa State Univ on hydrangeas

Thanks .... all info is sooo appreciated!
Let us know what you decide on. You are too welcome.
I did it....I bought an Endless Summer......going to plant it in a corner that faces North....it should get the morning sun, and afternoon shade.....
Looking forward to it....they do say to prune it back 1/3 including flowers when I plant it....it will kill me, but I will do it......
Thanks all.
Good Luck. Hope it thrives for you.
I love mine. You won't sorry....
I've also had good luck with All Summer Beauty. It is very simillar to Endless Summer.
